Bizz Buzz

How To Play:
"Bizz" is secret code for show business. "Buzz" is a silly haircut young boys receive from drill sergeants and half blind, eighty year old grandmothers. Yet together, with the aid of beer and fifth grade mathematics, they are a lovely way to kill a few hours. Bizz/Buzz is so simple the authors once participated in a game where in the contestants included themselves, 2 Cub Scouts and Petrov, the village idiot.

Any number of equally intelligent folk need only seat themselves in something resembling a circle. The first   player begins by saying one, the next player to his or her right says… that's right!… two. Play continues on in this manner. However, when the count reaches a number divisible by seven, the first being…that's right….seven, that player should substitute the word "seven" for the word "Bizz". If they are able to successfully complete this task the rotation changes direction with the player to his or her left saying eight. Simple. Count, count, and count some more. Again, when the number reaches a multiple of seven, everyone should hear the player whose turn it is proclaim in a forceful and confident voice "Bizz", thus changing the direction of the game.

However, there are just a few more things to add, for the name of the game is Bizz/Buzz, not Bizz/nothing else. Should the number reach a multiple of eleven, the first of which is… that's right… eleven, the player whose duty it would be to say eleven substitutes the number for the word "Buzz". Should this task be successfully completed, and we understand we're pushing things here, play again changes directions.

Now, if everyone is nice and snookered the game will probably never get past twenty two, also a multiple of eleven by the way. However, should you be sober enough to count, things will most certainly get a bit taxing as the digits climb up into the… gasp…double figures. Have fun!

Oh, wait. We're not as bright as we thought. Drinks are awarded to individuals missing a proper "Bizz" or "Buzz" or simply saying something silly like "Buzz" on three. Now, village idiots, go forth and booze!

Buzz

How To Play:
Instructions:
You can not use any number of seven(7,17,27), multiples of seven(7,14,21)or double digits(11,22,33). In the place of these numbers you say the word BUZZ. Each time BUZZ is said the rotation of the game is reversed. Each time BUZZ is said each person takes a drink while the game is still going.

Directions:
3 or more players get in a circle and one person (whoever) starts the game going clockwise with 1. The person to the left is 2,3 and so on around the circle. Once the number gets up to seven, that number is not said, rather BUZZ will be said. The rotation is then reversed (counter clockwise), and the person to the right of the person who said BUZZ continues with the number 8,9,10. Because 11 is a double digit it to is replaced with BUZZ, and the rotation is reversed again (clockwise).
Once you get to 21 and 22 these are two BUZZ's back to back which means after 20, you would say BUZZ(replacing 21). Then it would reverse to the person who just said 20 which would now be their turn to say BUZZ (replacing 22). Then it would go back to the person who first said BUZZ and then you would be on the number 23. It also does the same thing at 27 & 28, 55 & 56. If you make it up to the seventies (and few do) it would be a BUZZ back and forth to those who are lucky enough to find themselves in that situations from 70 thru 79.

Penalties:
Taking to long to say your number or BUZZ. Saying BUZZ when a number is required or a number when BUZZ is required. Saying the wrong number.
If you are the person who screws up you must drink four seconds of your beer(or whatever you require), and you start the game over with one(this gives a different person saying different numbers).
This is a great game to play when sitting outside in a circle or floating down the river in inner tubes (in a circle).

Bongo Fandangel
How To Play:
Players sit in a circle. The first player says one, and players then proceed in turn to count upwards. However, if there is a 5 or multiple of five in the number, then the player says "Bongo" instead of the number, and if there is a seven or multiple of 7 in the number then the player says "Fandangle" For example 15 would be "Bongo", 17 would be "Fandangle" and 35 would be "Bongo Fandangle". All the fifties would be "Bongos", except 56 and 57 which are both "Bongo Fandangle"
